Oludayo is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and she is currently completing her Master of Counseling Psychology degree with Yorkville University, and she is also completing her practicum placement at New Beginnings Barrie Psychotherapy & Counselling. Oludayo received her Bachelor’s degree in Education Guidance Counselling from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
Oludayo has varied experiences working in schools, residential living settings, and shelters. During the past years, she worked in various shelters supporting individuals from different walks of life to understand their presenting problems and assist them in coming up with ideas that would bring about positive change in their lives.
She has worked with numerous individuals experiencing addiction problems, mental health crises, and women struggling with marital abuse and has also assisted immigrants struggling to settle down in Canada. She also has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities diagnosed with autism, attention deficit disorder, bipolar, anxiety, depressive mood, etc.
Oludayo’s service is designed to work from an integrated approach, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and spiritual counseling. In addition, she is hoping to fully assist her clients from a strength-based perspective.
