Everyday life is hectic, and trauma has no hierarchy. An incident that means nothing to someone may be catastrophic to you. Some people may tell you..get up...some may even say you are making a mountain out of a molehill, while others may actually blame you for what happened but then who is there to help really? Who is ready to listen to you? To help you figure out why and what happened? Who can collaboratively work alongside with you to help you get back to your “normal”? That’s where I come in.
I am not telling you I will perfect everything, but I am telling you that I can listen to you empathetically, I can reason and walk the journey with you, I can offer you counselling modalities that can help you feel better, I can tailor your treatment based on how you are feeling. I have experienced similar journeys with most people, and I have walked some miles in various situations.
